...but I left the lens cap on the gopro! I am not a smart man...

Still had a blast. Constant improved times, ran pretty well with the pack. Clipped a cone on my last two runs though, so my best run wasn't really my best. Still couldn't catch the Focus ST. midengineer (fmrly mr2tastic) drove the Sonic as well and fortunately I didn't lose to him in my own car.

I'll share results and pictures when they're available

Luckily I didn't clip any cones today. My dad would've had my head if I made a mark on the car.

When I saw the results I was like wut. I can't be that good, it's only my fourth AutoX, and my FIRST with the Boxster.

Yeah...I have two lines on either side of my car from cones. Really need to buff that out.

Yeah, I use the frame which comes with a cap to protect the lens. Apparently they changed it to a clear cap, that would have been nice

I originally got it for my RC airplane because it's smaller and lighter. I use it a lot of the time now because it's less bulky and easier to deal with. Of course if I forget the lens cap is on the camera it's entirely pointless...

Yeah, it definitely makes sense as a mount. I've been contemplating it for a while for my GoPro as well, to see if it improves the sound pickup over the standard case.

It definitely helps the sound, but it leaves you exposed to more wind.
